The Club Race Officer course is intended to give volunteers the confidence to run club races and to have a good knowledge of the procedures and duties of a race officer.  This is a two day course and attendees of the first day, may apply for Assistant Race Officer certification.  Attendees participating in both days may apply for certification of Club Race Officer after they have obtained experience running races.

This course will also be of interest to racers.  Knowledge of some aspects of race management will benefit racers.  This course also covers the responsibilities of a race officer.  Attendees might be surprised to learn that few actions or in-actions of race officers would be cause for redress to be granted.

Day 1 of this course will be held at CYC from 9 am to 4 pm.  Day 2 will be held at GSC from 9 am to 4 pm.  The cost of the course is only $20 which will cover your lunches for both days.
