Chopped: Yacht Club Edition
Tonight is a time of great sorrow and of great celebration. We are here tonight to celebrate the life of a great cook, Regina, who put the Yacht Club on the map for her great meals. Her death was a great loss for the club. But, life must go on, and go on it will with this evening. The Calgary Yacht Club is honoured to have been chosen to host Chopped: Yacht Club Edition. Four talented chefs will compete to win the job as new chef here at our club. It will all be televised on the Foodie Channel. And you, dear honoured guests, will be part of the voting process. Yes, 50% of the vote will be in your hands. So judge accordingly and know that there can be only one… winner that is. The chefs are all unique in their field, but each is known for their own style and personality, so you will have to judge accordingly.
So welcome, to The Hunger Games: Chef Edition. And may be the best chef win…. Or at least, survive. With all the knives, cleavers and kitchen ware, it just may be a little difficult.....
Cocktails - 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
First Act followed by a Gourmet Buffet Dinner - 7:00 pm
Second and Third Acts - 8:15 pm
