Come and join us on Saturday, September 11 at Calgary Yacht Club to celebrate 50 years of the Laser/ILCA dinghy.  

Not your average day ...  Skippers team meeting will be at 12:30. 

This will not be your conventional up and downwind.  The day will begin with making up teams to compete in the Laser slalom (with a twist), here’s a video of the course ... https://youtu.be/8DXdPdgo3g4

The twist?  Your team will sail, kayak and SUP paddle around the course.  Will it work?  We can only hope, but it will be a good time.  Equipment for slalom to be supplied by CYC.

A mass fleet sailpast will follow the slalom and then a showing of some of our youth team interviewing recent ILCA 6 Tokyo Olympian, Sarah Douglas.

Come for a sail or paddle.  Come to meet old and new friends.  Stay for the BYO BBQ after.

Activity will be outdoors and follow all Alberta Health protocols.

Note: there will be no on land supervision of those under 18.
